Playacar Beach in the Riviera MayaPlayacar Beach is located just south of Playa del Carmen beach and is immaculate. This beach in the Riviera Maya Mexico is mostly private. There are some rental condos, beach houses and all inclusive resorts that have their private section of the beach, therefore leaving not much for the public. This line of beach is small though, so you will most likely just be using it if you are staying at a resort in this area. The sand is beautiful. It is not white, but it is soft and course. The ocean here is good for swimming and snorkeling and it is not rocky entering the ocean. You can also walk a little bit north and run into Playa del Carmen beach.
